Nothing says “I have no money” like a new cell phone and a new Vera bag. Don’t even ask what I was thinking, but now, I feel like a zillion bucks. At least I will look good with my new over-priced purse and my new ‘looking like Spock’ phone. Even though I am still wearing raggedy Target jeans.
On a completely different note, I am a big fan of snow days. We have missed school every day this week. I think we could have gone today, but I am soooo not complaining. I am willing to bet that we won’t go tomorrow either. If we do, talk about a wasted day. You can’t hardly do anything with a Friday. You can’t start a new story, new spelling words, nothing. Oh well. Me, crafty teacher that I am, will think of something in the event that I do have to drag my butt out of bed and go to school. 
Hope you all are enjoying the snow as much as I am—I have loved staying home with Troy. Nothing is better than napping, eating, and watching TV. Life doesn’t get any better than that. Well, some things make it better, but we are so not going there.
